Junior Forest Wardens
Junior Forest Wardens is a fun family-friendly organization dedicated to the education of youth ages 6 -18. Through hands-on activities, outdoor recreation, environmental projects, community events & weekly club meetings, we aim to provide our JFWs with the experience and the knowledge necessary to make responsible decisions with regards to our forests and related natural resources.

Scouts, Cubs and Beavers
Scouts Canada, the country’s leading youth organization, offers seven challenging programs for boys, girls and youth age 5-26 in nearly 3,600 individual groups in most cities and towns across Canada. Over 84,000 young people enjoy Scouts Canada’s programs, which are provided by 25,000 caring and dedicated volunteers. Scouts Canada’s national office is located in Ottawa. 835 Griffin Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Cadets, Squamish
Open to children ages 12-18, the program is designed to promote leadership, citizenship and physical fitness. Uniforms are provided to Cadets. Meetings are Tuesdays 6:30 - 9:30 at Don Ross Secondary School. There are no joining fees as the program is funded by the Department of National Defence and the Air Cadet League of Canada.

The Hot Spot

The Hotspot is a community resource centre operated through a partnership beteween the Sea to Sky Freenet Association and the Squamish Volunteer Centre Society. The centre provides a drop in space, wireless internet access, bulletin boards, pamphlets, newsletters, as well as a public computer lab with internet access and education opportunities.
